I'm going back home for a five week break tomorrow so this will be my last outing until September. Hopefully I'll be able to get out to my local patch and find something of interest.




What I thought were Temminck's Stint last week, turned out to be little stints.




The yellow wagtails are still around, feeding on the abundance of insects.


This years Kentish plovers are growing quite well.


When I pulled up to my usual spot for watching, I saw this movement in the water and quickly grabbed my camera and took a shot. I have no idea what kind of snake it is.
