It was a lovely clear day on Thursday and I managed to get a few pictures.

A heavily cropped red-rumped swallow.

Getting stared at by an Isabelline shrike.

A pale clouded yellow butterfly. I had to take this one handed as I was holding the grass back with the other.

Yesterday was very dusty, about as bad as I've ever seen it. Nevertheless I went to the chicken farm to see what was around. Due to the conditions and time constraints, I ended up with only a couple of wagtails.

Yellow Wagtail, form M. flava 'superciliaris' - In Helm 2003 considered an intergrade between feldegg and flava or beema.
