It was a lovely clear day on Thursday and I managed to get a few pictures.
A heavily cropped red-rumped swallow.
Getting stared at by an Isabelline shrike.
A pale clouded yellow butterfly. I had to take this one handed as I was holding the grass back with the other.
Here are the pictures from my weekend's outing.
Slender-billed gull, bored as usual.
Yesterday was very dusty, about as bad as I've ever seen it. Nevertheless I went to the chicken farm to see what was around. Due to the conditions and time constraints, I ended up with only a couple of wagtails.
Yellow Wagtail, form M. flava 'superciliaris' - In Helm 2003 considered an intergrade between feldegg and flava or beema.
