On Friday I saw lots of wheatears, swallows, bee-eaters, wagtails etc. It looks like the migration has begun and hopefully this year will be good. Here are a few of the pictures I managed to get.
Yellow wagtail, I think it's a first winter bird possibly Beema.
Another yellow wagtail, possibly ss feldegg or thunbergi.
Another short-toed lark
A rather bedraggled spotted flycatcher. I think he must have headed straight for the water to cool down.
This redstart was sheltering from the sun under a truck. Fortunately the truck is not mobile.
It's been a while since I've managed to get on the site, connection problems etc. Anyway I managed today and have a couple of pictures from my outing at Qatif, Saudi Arabia.
