Here are my images from Friday.
Asian desert warbler (A favourite of mine)
White wagtail with unidentified food
Namaqua dove (young female)
Black-eared wheatear (This took a bit of work to identify but Howard came through in the end)
but who to say I am right
The following have been taken over a few weekends, mainly in Bahrain.
Young male manaqua dove
Young barn swallow
Isabelline (Turkestan) shrike
After thumping my lens with a ball pein hammer, I managed to get it working again. Below are the fruits of my labour from Friday 15th Oct.
I only managed one picture on Friday before my lens malfunctioned. There was a fault with the lens mounting ring which I've now managed to fix. Hopefully this will last until I can get a new mount fitted.
Friday was a wheatear and shrike day.
I'm not sure Brendan would agree but I prefer two in a bush. Top is isabelline, bottom northern wheatear.
Steppe Grey shrike
