The return migration is steadily building, with all three of us back from our summer breaks ugh, Baadan Farm continues to be one of the best locations to view the return with Brendon and Juhani in the first few weeks of early September increasing variously their Bahrain tally with Striated Heron Butorides striata, Purple Heron Ardea purpurea, Sacred Ibis Threskiornis aethiopicus, Marsh-Harrier Circus aeruginosus, Osprey Pandion haliaetus, Collared Pratincole Glareola pratincola, Pacific Golden-Plover Pluvialis fulva, Bridled Tern Sterna anaethetus, Egyptian Nightjar Caprimulgus aegyptius, European Roller Coracias garrulus, Oriental Skylark Alauda gulgula, Starling Sturnus vulgaris, and Common Rosefinch Carpodacus erythrinus.
