Starting to pick up
15:35:37, Categories: Observation by Howard dirty and dusty this morning but the number of new species around has improved dramatically - this morning I went south into the drier desert spaces that make up much of the island - not that there is much of it left this being silly season - camping time.
Rock Thrush one of seven possibly eight seen today
Desert Lark - one of a pair carrying off food?
Pied Wheatear - two of the dozen or so seen today
Red-tailed or Kurdish Wheatear
Blue Rock Thrush one of three seen
The bringer of spring a Hoopoe
