a bit cooler that expected

After last weeks heavy rain its a a bit of a quagmire out there but still managed not to get stuck in the mud and visit a few of the usual places. Not quite as lucky as Brendan to see an Osprey bathing in Buhair which is the valley of doom for two wheelers like myself but had a good time nevertheless. It really was a question of water water everywhere.

New Year Return

Permalink 20:16:33, Categories: Observation by Howard, Admin - Howard King

I had hoped to return from the UK to sunshine but the it turned out to be a dull day. I had a mad dash around the shore checking what was around, BUT with a mid tide in the morning most things were too distant for good photography. After the shore I checked out the farms at Buri and Hamalah but as expected mostly quiet with only familiar species on view
