As August draws to a close most of the birds that constitute the breeding colony on Suwad Al Janubiyah will have regrouped ready to move closer to Hawar  - many will have spent the summer on outlying Islands at favoured roost sites -- great rafts and flocks of birds become a familiar sight in the waters close offshore from the roosts.- Several prints were used to create the view below - there were nine prints in the series covering this raft -  size, loss of definition and differences in colour between the prints prevented a reasonable mosaic being made of the entire series - the event was also captured on video.
