The majority of nests are constructed along the coasts of the low lying islands, added to every year they do eventually reached a considerable height as here on Suwad Al Janubiyah. It would be interesting to carbon date the nesting material at the bottom of the heap and do an analysis of the ring data from the halophytic plant material preserved vertically in such nest platforms
