Despite its appearance the largest island in the Wakur group has only a single suitable nesting site, the north west face or reverse slope is a gentle scree with out cliffs. Seen here in the early morning light the best cliff faces all receive direct sunlight and are shunned by Sooty Falcons for breeding sites
