Adobe Photoshop 6.0 Web Photo Gallery / I started in 2003 a Caspian Tern Ringing program, but have encountered a few problems along the way -  when the chicks are very small and still in the nest I found that the rings were too large, they slipped off over the foot . By the time the chicks were large enough for this not to happen they had become incredibly mobile and proved very difficult to find in the dense coastal vegetation under which they hide.
